Sleepless Boudoir is based in Austin, Texas and works with clients throughout Central Texas who are looking for a calm, professional boudoir experience. The focus is on capturing something real: presence, confidence, and the quiet details that make a person who they are.
Sessions are guided throughout, with clear direction and unhurried pacing. There is no expectation that clients arrive knowing how to pose or what to do. That is what the session itself is for. Communication is straightforward, boundaries are respected, and nothing moves faster than feels comfortable.
The goal is always to leave clients with images that feel honest and personal. Not performative. Not overdone. Just a thoughtful reflection of the person in front of the camera.

Tommy creates a calm, supportive environment where clients feel comfortable from the start, drawing on over 25 years of photography experience. His approach centers on clear direction, patient guidance, and respectful pacing. First-time boudoir clients often note how at ease they felt, even when they expected to be nervous. The goal is to build trust and let the session unfold naturally.
Marggie
Professional Hair & Makeup Artist
In her words:
I've been doing hair and makeup for twenty years and I've worked with a lot of photographers. I'm in the room for every one of Tommy's sessions. I'm working the whole time, talking and laughing with you between setups.
People sometimes ask me what it's like working with a man in this genre. Honestly, it's the reason I still do it. He's careful with people. He explains what he's doing before he does it. He never touches anyone. And he stops the second someone looks uncertain.
You won't be alone here, and you won't be rushed.

Every Sleepless Boudoir session includes professional hair and makeup as a standard part of the experience. It is built into the session because it matters.
Clients do not need to arrive camera-ready or know how to style themselves. That is handled. Marggie takes the time to understand what each client wants to look and feel like, then tailors the styling accordingly. Whether the goal is soft and natural or something with more presence, the approach is always collaborative and never rushed.
This time also serves as a transition into the session itself. It offers space to relax, ask questions, and settle into the experience before stepping in front of the camera. By the time the session begins, most clients already feel comfortable and confident.
The Studio
Private Location
Sessions take place in a private Austin studio designed for comfort and discretion. The space is calm, professionally equipped, and completely private. Location details are shared after booking.
On-Location Options
For clients who prefer a different setting, on-location sessions are available throughout Austin and Central Texas. These can be tailored around meaningful spaces or creative concepts.
